Vayikkamba || Kerala-Karnataka Border

Unplanned trips are often extraordinary. this surreal waterfall is nothing less than a hidden treasure. As though the spot was known for a few, The ambiance was too quiet with the chirping of birds, flowing of stream, And that made the trip extraordinary.

Was a boring day, Not so much to do. while boredom hits its peak, I simply texted in my college WhatsApp group, "Guys evdeyenkilm poyalo...??" ( guys, Can we go somewhere? )

immediately one replied "Ahh, pova" (YES)
another replied "evida povum?" (where to go)
next one "njaanum ind.." ( i have too)

finally, 5 of us decided to go for a short ride. But was not sure where to go within that short while.

we 5 gathered at Taliparamba and left to Vayikamba, it was a 37 km drive. We reached there at 2.45 pm, As though the place were only known to a few, there were only a few people, we crossed an iron bridge, then the problem arose.

it was a reserve forset that we have just entered. And we are not permitted to enter, But the forest officer said that we can go through the riverside through the other side of the bridge, there was actually no way to move along rather than bushes and slippery rocks, we hardly moved to the bottom along the riverside. music of the birds and flowing water made our adventure mesmerizing,

A deep swim in those flowing stream made our day, Swimming against, Cutting through those flow was interesting, It is dangerous to swim in those flow during a heavy water flow, and it is not allowed to enter there when the rainfall is high, we were there when it was not so dangerous to swim. So make sure it is safe to swim in these type areas,

Although the day with an unexpeced ride to this breathtaking waterfall made our day,
